Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single Sign-On
This document will guide you through the steps to setup Single Sign-On with Zepto Merchant Portal.
Single Sign On Overview
Zepto provides Single Sign-On (SSO) integration to the merchant portal, allowing merchant's team to access the platform using their organisation's established SSO credentials. This functionality strengthens security measures and optimises the user experience by utilising the enterprise identity provider for seamless authentication.
We currently support IDPs that are based on Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 protocol.
SSO solutions that use the SAML 2.0 protocol include Okta, Azure, and Microsoft AD FS.
Key benefits of using SSO
- Seamless integration: SSO increases employee productivity by reducing the time they must spend remembering and maintaining another set of credentials.
- Improved Security: It enables organisations to enforce strong password policies and implement multi-factor authentication consistently across all connected systems. It also allows Organisation administrators to centrally manage user access to the merchant portal.
How it works
Below are the high level steps required to complete the SSO integration, our team will support you through the process:
